The Workplace Neuroinclusion Audit

Eight minutes, eight domains, one honest picture of where your organisation actually stands. Built for small, medium and large employers, scored against published UK frameworks, and free.

Why this matters now

Most employers cannot answer the question “where are we?”

Not because they are doing nothing, but because the work is spread across HR, managers, facilities and goodwill, and nobody holds the whole picture. This audit assembles it in one place and tells you which parts are carrying you and which are holding you back.

What you get

  • An instant maturity band and overall score
  • A score for each of the eight domains
  • The three domains holding your position back
  • A branded PDF report you can share internally
  • A copy by email, and no obligation to do anything else

The eight domains are synthesised from published UK frameworks and guidance: the Business Disability Forum Disability Smart framework, the Disability Confident scheme, CIPD and Uptimize Neuroinclusion at Work (2024), the Buckland Review of Autism Employment (2024), BSI PAS 6463:2022 and ISO 30415:2021. Scoring is weighted by organisation size so smaller employers are not measured against infrastructure they would not be expected to hold.

Neurodiversity workplace support across Essex and online UK-wide

Sensational Minds is based at our Colchester clinic in CO3 0NQ. Employers across Colchester, Chelmsford, Braintree, Basildon, Southend-on-Sea, Ipswich and the wider East of England use us for neurodiversity workplace support in person, and organisations across the UK work with us online. The free neurodiversity audit is the usual starting point either way.

Because our clinicians also carry out autism, ADHD and dyslexia assessments locally, the workplace advice you get is grounded in what actually helps neurodivergent employees day to day, rather than awareness training alone.

Common questions about the audit

How long does the neuroinclusion audit take?
About eight minutes. There are 24 statements across eight domains, plus a short section about your organisation. You can answer honestly without preparing anything in advance.
Is the workplace audit really free?
Yes. There is no charge and no obligation. We ask for your details so we can send you the branded report, and you choose separately whether you would like our monthly business newsletter.
What do I get at the end?
An immediate on-screen result and a branded PDF report showing your overall maturity band, a score for each of the eight domains, the three domains holding you back and what a weakness in each of those typically produces. We also email you a copy.
What is this audit based on?
The eight domains are synthesised from published UK frameworks and guidance including the Business Disability Forum Disability Smart framework, the Disability Confident scheme, CIPD and Uptimize Neuroinclusion at Work (2024), the Buckland Review of Autism Employment (2024), BSI PAS 6463:2022 and ISO 30415:2021.
Does organisation size affect the result?
Yes. Scoring is weighted by size, so a business of nine people is not marked down for lacking the governance and workforce analytics infrastructure of an employer of two thousand.
Is this an accreditation or a compliance check?
No. It is a self-assessment based on what you tell us and it is not independently verified. It is general information about workplace practice rather than legal advice, an accreditation or a compliance certificate. A formal neuroinclusion review examines the evidence directly.
Do you provide neurodiversity workplace support in Essex?
Yes. We are based at our Colchester clinic in CO3 0NQ and deliver neurodiversity workplace support on site across Colchester, Chelmsford, Basildon, Southend, Ipswich and the wider East of England, as well as online for organisations anywhere in the UK.
What happens after the neurodiversity audit?
You get your report immediately, then an evidence-led follow-up a few days later. If you want to go further, we offer a formal neurodiversity workplace review, manager training, accredited e-learning and retained consultancy. There is no obligation to take any of it.
